A black and white print of an Edwardian shirt hung out in the sunshine. The delicate lace casts a shadow on the cotton bodice & creates a fleeting feeling of a glimpse of the past. This print is a part of a series that I've started that features close up shots of historical clothing. I wanted to showcase the craftsmanship, but also give the viewer a moment to ponder the person who may have made &/or worn the garment & what life might have been like back then.
