I wanted to showcase the craftsmanship, but also give the viewer a moment to ponder the person who may have made &/or worn the garment & what life might have been like back then. Here we have the details of an 1880's petticoat. I love how the late afternoon light streaming through the fabric creates a sense of nostalgia.
