One of the very first signs of spring in the Adirondacks is when the bloodroot bloom. If you are lucky to find a patch of them, they immediately delight you with a blizzard of white flowers carpeting the forest floor. This black and white photograph was taken with the Lensbaby Sweet 35 art lens which creates a small spot of focus surrounded by artful blur.
